Amigoas Youth Development Program

This week we just started the Amigoas Youth Development Program (AYDP) with topics like PHP/MySQL/CSS. For the first batch we have 10 students already. For a start, we can only accommodate 10 students and we are praying that we can have more students to come for the next batch. The cost of the training is Php 1,500.00 with a total of 40 hours of in-depth technical and hands on training. We meet 8 hours a day from 8 in the morning ti'll 5 in the afternoon. I know for sure that it is vacation, so the selected students are really free.

We currently used FREE softwares. For coding we use the Notepad++, the MySQL for the database, the PHP and video resources. Unfortunately, I don't discuss much about basics, but I have videos that I gave to students for them to watch so they can learn the basics. So when you want to join with us, be sure that you already know about computers and that you have a background about HTML or making of webpages.

Each student has each own computer unit so he/she can try and have a hands for coding. With the first 10 batch, we didn't let them pay for the tutorial fee, instead we shoulder the fee by tapping people who can sponsor a student. Thanks God that there are really good hearted people that He used to provide a help for the student. The training is currently being held at Amigoas internet cafe.
